When will I receive payment from the Access to Learning fund?

We aim to process applications to the Access to Learning Fund within 20 working days, but at peak times this may take considerably longer. We can only make a payment to you if your module has already started.

We will write to you to let you know the outcome of your application once it has been processed and if an award is made, payments are normally paid by BACs directly into your bank account. If we need to send you a cheque, you should allow approximately two weeks from receiving confirmation of any award for the cheque to reach you.
