Student reviews
You will study a variety of musical genres from pop to folk to classical. This module is challenging, make no mistake, best approached if you have studied up to Grade 5 theory minimum, if you have not then you might struggle so be aware. I enjoyed the tutor-marked assignments (TMAs) and the tutorials very much.
If you are familiar with musical notation software that is a bonus as you will be using it to do your TMAs. I had to learn to use it and for me, that was perhaps the most challenging aspect but with practice and asking lots of questions, which the tutors were excellent at addressing, you will get into the swing of it (pardon the pun).
