Student reviews

This is a very interesting module. If you have a fascination in mental health and its history within the medical field, this module is for you.

I learned so much. The module was challenging and difficult at times. Even though the subjects involved are interesting to study, it didn't make it easier.

Don't underestimate this module. But have fun.

This module was informative, interesting and challenging. I learnt so much and particularly enjoyed the second assignment being a Powerpoint presentation instead of an essay. I felt this was a great way to show the skills we had learnt and it made a lovely change from writing essays!
This module also encouraged me to consider my career options and encouraged me to take on volunteering work with a well-known mental health charity. I really recommend this module for anyone looking to expand their understanding within the mental health field!
