I enjoyed studying this module more than i thought i would. I did not particularly choose to study DD209, but had to as part of compulsory module for my degree pathway. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am now going on to study DD309. I had a fantastic tutor who made the subject come alive, and with everything that was going on in the economy, it was a great time to study economics. I would highly recommed this course for anyone who is interested in economics.

I really enjoyed this course it is well structured. It's split quite obviously into macroeconomics and microeconomics. When it first started I though it would make sense to teach the micro bit first but by the time I reached the end of the course, I think I could understand why it was taught in the order specified. It's contemporary with the course itself seemingly developed as more people became interested in economics since the global financial crisis in 2008.

The content often foxed me but I ploughed through and learned that reading, rereading and maybe even rereading again could be beneficial. I've also learned that, providing enough time has been allowed between the completion of the last TMA and iCMA for a decent amount of revision, I enjoy exams. It helped me to look at the course with fresh but experienced eyes and some concepts, which had eluded me or I was a bit shaky on generally started to fall into place once the course had been fully delivered and revision commenced.

This is a good module I can recommend if economics is your thing. It was really hard but then it's not supposed to be easy is it?
