Student reviews

This module is so interesting and so much fun. That said, it is incredibly detailed and requires a lot of revision.
The revision hub is a good tool, but it does not cover everything so it's important to ensure you revise your own notes as well.

The final project was a great opportunity to practice writing a real paper and really very fun.

On the whole the course was interesting and relatively easy to follow. An exception was the instructions to the tutor-marked assignment (TMA) linked to the rats; brown fat experiment: the experiment was fine but it was less clear what needed to be included in the TMA. The final TMA I loved - counting bees/pollination and I would strongly recommend the Field School if at all possible. Such a help with the TMA which is part of the examinable component. Workload okay, concepts articulated fine, though I struggled with the different modes of photosynthesis but thats probably just me! Good fun and interesting for the most part.
