Module satisfaction survey

The figures below are taken from a survey of students who sat the exam/completed the end-of-module assessment for the October 2013 presentation of ED841. The survey was carried out in 2014.

36 students (a response rate of 37.1%) responded to the survey covering what they thought of 10 aspects of the module.

Please note that if the percentage of students who responded to this module survey is below 30% and/or the number of responses is below 23 it means that only a small proportion of students provided feedback and their views as shown here may not be fully representative of all students who studied the module.

See this page for the full text of questions and more information about the survey.

Faculty comment: "The overall student feedback for ED841 is broadly comparable to other postgraduate FELS modules. On 6 of the measures (level of enjoyment, support, would recommend to others, value for money, good study experience, and the quality of the module) ED841 scored higher than the average faculty postgraduate score. On 4 of the measures (workload, expectations, teaching materials, and learning outcomes) ED841 scored lower than the average. In terms of raw scores, the majority of students were satisfied on all outcome measures (average 71% satisfaction). In response the module team is taking on board student comment to inform changes to enhance the learning experience. In order to address the relative weaknesses, additional materials, podcasts and extra tutor training have been devised to guide students through the assessments and to enhance the overall quality and experience for students on the module."
