An excellent and detailed module in Project Management. I studied it as part of the Postgraduate Diploma in Systems Thinking in Practice and am super pleased with the distinction I gained, and all that I learned. It's time-intensive with each tutor-marked assignment being broken down into multiple questions. You will do well if you write clearly and actually take the time to study the module material. Furthermore, I already use concepts from the module even though I don't work in a project management environment. Well worth the money and the time.

Overall I found this module enjoyable and achieved a good grade.

Block 1 on the Project Concept phase included information on stakeholders and a large piece on risk.

Block 2 covered more practical project management activities such as estimating, scheduling, milestones and planning techniques, which in my opinion was the easiest block.

Block 3 covered monitoring and control methods for a project manager. The larger section of configuration management was harder to understand for me as I do not work in projects that this would be applicable too and the terminology can be confusing here.

Block 4 was a small block covering a vast array of subjects such as handover and knowledge management.

The tutor-marked assignments (TMAs) although seeming easy on first read required a lot of time to do and the questions varied between using techniques through the blocks, end-of-module assessment (EMA) preparation and short pieces of writing.

The EMA is not too bad to complete as the structure is given and parts are prepared throughout the study of the module.

The course material is well written, has a good variety, the TMAs/EMA are well written and structured, I had good support from my tutor and there was rapid module team support on the forums and good participation from all.
