Dirty little secrets, favourite fakes and the rise of older entrepreneurs –The Money Programme is back!

Money Programme

Money Programme

The popular Open University and BBC co-production, The Money Programme, returns for a new series on BBC Two in its regular slot at 7pm from 1 February 2008.

The eight programmes will explore issues ranging from the dirty tricks some companies use to gain an illegal advantage over competitors, our love for counterfeit goods and how people in their sixties and seventies are shunning retirement and overcoming re-employment issues by setting up their own businesses. Other topical issues that affect us all include the aviation industry, use of email, green fuels and investment scams.

The series will once again be presented by Max Flint and Libby Potter, while former Money Programme presenter Valerie Singleton will return for the programme on older entrepreneurs.

Professor Liz Daniel from the OU Business School and Academic Consultant for the series, said: “Our partnership with the BBC continues to highlight business and management issues in the news headlines. In addition to the programme, academics from the OU Business School also provide related articles and blogs on the Open2.net website where viewers can access more information and view additional clips from the programmes.”
