![]() ICTPI 2015 The Open University is hosting the 15th International Conference on Technology Policy and Innovation (ICTPI) at its Milton Keynes campus on 17-19 June 2015 – the first time this prestigious international event has been held in the United Kingdom. ![]() The Open University in Milton Keynes ICTPI brings together academics, business-leaders and policy makers to discuss important issues relating to in the use and impact of science and technology to foster regional economic development and shared prosperity at home and abroad. The event will showcase speakers from across the globe from a wide range of subject areas and disciplines such as cyber security, big data, smart technologies and e-learning. Professor of Energy, William Nuttall, from the OU’s Faculty of Maths, Computing & Technology, is leading the University’s involvement in the event and said: “The OU is delighted to be hosting this prestigious event, bringing together some of the best thinkers and researchers from around the world.” The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Information and communications technology (ICT) and Science in a Complex World’ and will be organised along the following themes: Professor Nuttall added: “The OU is the ideal choice for ICTPI 2015 given our world-leading research in the key areas of smart cities, new forms of energy, e-learning and cyber-security.
