Lady McIntosh, Former OU Pro-Vice-Chancellor, dies

It is with deep regret that we notify you of the death on Sunday 23rd July, of Lady McIntosh of Haringey. Lady McIntosh served the The Open University as Professor Naomi Sargant McIntosh, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs) from 1974 to 1978, and also held several positions in IET (including Head of Institutional Research and Professor of Applied Social Research) before leaving the University in 1981.

Her funeral will be at St Marylebone Crematorium, East End Road, Finchley, London N2 at 1:45 pm on Friday 28th July, returning to 27 Hurst Avenue, N6. Family flowers only please, but donations if you wish to the Harington Scheme, a Highgate charity which she chaired, providing horticultural training for young people with learning difficulties: 55 Cholmeley Park, London N6.

The OU flag will be flown at half-mast on Friday 28th July in memory of Lady McIntosh.
