Nealry 450 students are currently studying with the Open University in Greece. To date, over 500 Bachelors and 320 Masters level degrees have been awarded to students in Greece.
The student's perspective
Alice-Ann Demosthenous lives in Athens and is a housewife and mother of 2. She finished studying for her BA Honours with the Open University in 1999, and is now working towards her Masters. Alice-Ann wants to teach, and expains 'I want a full time job and this is a good way to get from part time to full time. I believe I have made myself much more marketable to an employer. Before I began studying the most important thing in life was my children, now it is my work. Open University courses are brilliantly presented and everything is provided. You get an immense sense of self satisfaction and credit for all the work you have done, and it all counts!'
