Through 'partnership' and contract agreements, local colleges, sixth form colleges and universities provide facilities for Open University staff to meet their students for tutorials at the following places in the West Midlands:
Birmingham (Harborne), Coventry, Dudley, Hereford, Kidderminster, Leamington, Nuneaton, Redditch, Rugby, Shrewsbury, Solihull, Stafford, Stoke, Sutton Coldfield, Telford, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Worcester.
Where appropriate, venues other than colleges, sixth form colleges and universities are used. Tutorials are held at selected locations depending on level of student demand.

You are invited to attend a focussed briefing showing how The Open University can help your clients’ progress into higher education, earning while learning or re-skilling/up-skilling for a re-engagement with the labour market. We don’t have the formal entry requirements of campus universities and offer a wide range of courses and qualifications - the ideal progression route.
Starting with lunch and followed by a series of short presentations, the briefing is aimed at answering your questions. The Open University in the West Midlands contributes to the provision of information advice and guidance (IAG) about educational opportunities for adults through its Regional Centre at Harborne, Birmingham. Our main focus is on the University's own courses and qualifications though, where appropriate, we refer enquirers to other IAG services with which we are affiliated.
Each network offers information, advice and guidance concerning education and career opportunities within a given county or other local authority area.

The Open University is a member of the West Midlands Higher Education Association created to promote higher education institutions collaboration and partnership in the region. The Open University is one of 13 higher education institutions in the West Midlands delivering expertise and 'know-how' in an increasingly knowledge based regional economy.
