Planning your studies

The formal entry requirements for this certificate course are either the equivalent of a UK honours degree or a professional accounting qualification that is equivalent to an honours degree. You will be expected to have a basic knowledge of accounting and finance.

You need to take two modules and each module is available only once a year, but they can be taken in any order, and do not both have to be completed within the same year.

You must normally complete the required credit for your qualification within four years.

You should note that the University’s unique study rule applies to this qualification. This means that you must include at least 20 credits from OU modules that have not been counted in any other OU qualification that has previously been awarded to you.
