Planning your studies

You enter the Advanced Diploma in Equality and Diversity by taking an undergraduate level Part A course. There are no entry requirements for that, but you must be suitably prepared for study at a level comparable to the second year of a three-year full-time bachelors degree. The usual preparation would be a Level 1 course such as Introducing the social sciences (DD101) .

You can register your intention to study for the diploma when you reserve a place on your first Part A course, or leave it until you are ready to reserve for the Part B course. This gives you the flexibility to delay your decision or to change your mind as your studies progress. There is no time limit for completing this diploma, but we cannot guarantee that the same courses will continue to be available.

You must include at least 40 credit points from OU courses that have not been counted in any other OU qualification you have been awarded.
