The OU offers courses for every level of interaction with financial management within your business. Short courses are provided to support all levels of management within both small and large companies: new and middle managers who may be given financial targets and budgets but not the tools to manage the financial resources as well as those who are budget holders in large organisations and would like to be more familiar with the concepts of financial management.

    Get to grips with financial management with this introduction to finance for non-specialists, covering budgeting, making a business case for resources, and measuring financial performance.
  • Influencing strategic thinking for finance professionals
    This course will provide you with tools, frameworks and ideas to help you influence strategic thinking and contribute to strategic decisions as a finance professional.
  • Understanding finance and budgets
    This course will help increase your understanding of the basic concepts, key ideas and terminology of finance and budgets that all managers need.
