Key Corporate Skills

On this page

There are a number of skills that professionals need in the business environment which don’t necessarily fall under the standard headings of 'leadership', 'strategy', 'people management' – in fact most of the other headings in the professional skills section.  These skills cross disciplines and enable you to become a more rounded manager and leader within your organisation, adding depth to your knowledge.

Ethical issues within the workplace have increased in prominence over the past decade from a peripheral consideration to a central factor in strategic decision making. For this reason, we have developed two courses to specifically raise awareness in these areas: Corporate social responsibility in practice (GB070) and Ethics at work: professional ethics in the 21st Century (GA028).
