This diploma is for those who want to obtain a qualification that indicates that they have knowledge and training in the skills of classical studies. It is also suitable for those who wish to update their knowledge and skills in classical studies. It is a suitable qualification if you do not want to complete a full degree or if you want to obtain an interim qualification on the way to fulfilling the requirements for a degree.

If you have already completed some successful study at higher education level at another institution we may be able to give you credit that you can count towards this Open University qualification. Further details will be available when registration opens for this qualification.
On successful completion of the required modules you will be awarded a Diploma in Classical Studies and will be entitled to use the letters Dip Classical Studs (Open) after your name.
