The Diploma in Religious Studies is offered to students who have successfully completed a significant amount of study in the discipline. It is possible to specialise in either the history and recent experience of religion in Britain, with an emphasis on varieties of Christianity and/or to examine a range of world religions in wider cultural and geographical contexts.

If you have already completed some successful study at higher education level at another institution we may be able to give you credit that you can count towards this Open University qualification. Further details will be available when registration opens for this qualification.
On successful completion of the required modules you will be awarded a Diploma in Religious Studies and will be entitled to use the letters Dip RS (Open) after your name.
